Sweets – Jodhpur is very well known for its sweet variety of sweets. Nearly every lane and by lane of Jodhpur has a sweet shop. As per the traditional of Rajasthani people, they begin any meal with a dessert and then start the main course. They say this is why the speaking tone of the natives is so sweet! Makkhan Vada This extremely delectable dish is made using sugar syrup and butter. The vada has a lot of sugar and is very sweet. This can be easily found at any restaurant or sweet shop.

Mawa Kachori – This is one sweet which is made at its finest nowhere else but in Jodhpur. Cardamom spiced and deep fried kachori is smashed in sugar syrup. One kachori is heavy enough to be shared by two people.
