Mandya Railway Station (codenamed MYA) is one of the suburban stations in the Maddur taluk, Mandya district, Karnataka. The station is near to Mysore Junction and is the halt for over 20 express trains on the Mysore-Bangalore railway line. There are express and super-fast trains that cross Mandya station daily to major cities like Bangalore, Tirupathi, Chennai, Ajmer, Tuticorn, and Sai Shirdi. The station is controlled administratively by Bangalore division under South Western Railways Zone of Indian Railways. Kolar is a town in Kolar district in the state of Karnataka and is headquarter of Kolar district located in the southern areas off the state.
