In order to prevent the railway tickets from black-marketing, Indian Railways has made an announcement that it is mandatory for all passengers to carry Identity proof in original during travel for all reserved classes of the Indian railways trains. The rule will also be applicable onto persons purchasing train tickets from Indian Railway’s ticket counters. For a group-ticket, Identity proof of at least one person will be mandatory.
