Overview of Hejjala Railway Station – HJL

Hejjala Railway Station (codenamed HJL) is located in Ramanagara district of Karnataka, India. The station is near to the Bidadi station (7 Kilometres) and is the suburban halt for the trains on the Mysore- Bangalore railway line. Hejjala station belongs to the South Western Railway Zone of Indian Railways and falls under the supervision of Bangalore division respectively. Hejjala station is located at 23 Kilometres from the Bangalore City junction, 28 Kilometres from Yesvantpur junction and 82 Kilometres from Hosur Railway station.There are no express trains that halt at this railway station. However, there are few passenger trains running between Mysore and Bangalore on a daily basis. The passenger trains namely the Night Queen and Mysore Bangalore (Pull-Push) trains operate between these two cities helping the residents in the hamlets commute for work every day. More than nine passenger trains stop at the Hejjala railway station daily and over 70 express trains cross the station respectively.

Hejjala Railway station is located at 55 Kilometres from the Bangalore International Airport and close to the nearby bus station. The station is near to Ramanagaram (23 KM), Magadi (27 KM), Bangalore (31 KM), Maddur (55 KM), and other important taluks. The nearest tourists’ locations from the station are Nandi Hills, Savandurga, Bheemeshwari, Shivagange and Bangalore.
