Overview of Narela Railway Station – NUR

Narela is a tehsil in the north-west part of Delhi’s National Capital Territory. It is on the Delhi-Haryana border and is Delhi Development Authority’s third urban expansion project after Rohini and Dwarka. The Industrial development of Narela began in 1980s and is now a vital cog Delhi’s industry.

Narela Station is on Delhi-Ambala Route –

Narela Railway Station (station code NUR) is on the Delhi-Ambala route of the Northern Railways and in the Old Delhi division. The airport nearest to Narela is the Indira Gandhi International Airport, which is 42 km away. As many as 40 trains operate from the Narela Railway Station every day. The station has two platforms. Trians connect Narela to places like Ambala, Jammu, Udhampur, Hoshiarpur, Allahabad Junction, Chandigarh, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Amritsar Junction, Pune, Bhatinda, Fazilka, Kalka, and Dadar.

Metro Station Work is on –

Narela region is not on the Delhi Metro map at present. Delhi Metro’s Jahangir Puri station is the nearest station to Narela region. Narela itself is scheduled to have the Delhi Metro services in its Phase IV. The work on Phase IV is now on.
