North Eastern Indian Railways supervises the Rapti Ganga Express and it is connecting Dehradun and Muzaffarpur stations in the country. The service frequency of the express is once in a week and it covers a total distance of 1124 km in about 24 hours. In total, there are 17 coaches available in the express and it covers sleeper, general, AC second tier and AC three tier coaches. There is no pantry facility service available in the express. As per the coach structure, it starts with AC two tier coach in the beginning, followed by the AC three tier coaches, sleeper, and general coaches in the end. The average speed with which it runs is 47 km/hour.
