Badli is an old Yadav-dominated village in Delhi. Whenever Delhi was attacked, Badli was the first to face the invaders, who used to camp there. Badli is now an urban area as much of its land has been acquired for industries and for Delhi Development Authority’s Rohini project. As a result, Badli has an industrial area and most residents now work for the industry. Badli has a railway station and will also have the metro in the third phase of its expansion. Badli is an assembly constituency too and has Bhalswa and Jahangirpuri resettlement colonies, around 32 unauthorized colonies and some slums.

Badli Railway Station (station code BHD) has two platforms. It is an old station located on the main Delhi-Punjab line in Northern Railway’s Old Delhi division. Indira Gandhi International Airport is the nearest (21.36 km) airport from Badli. As many as 26 trains operate from Badli every day. Badli is connected with places like Amritsar, Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Kalka, Amb Andaura (Himachal), Panipat, Kurukshetra, Sonipat, Ghaziabad, Sahibabad, and Ambala by daily trains.

Narela is a tehsil in the north-west part of Delhi’s National Capital Territory. It is on the Delhi-Haryana border and is Delhi Development Authority’s third urban expansion project after Rohini and Dwarka. The Industrial development of Narela began in 1980s and is now a vital cog Delhi’s industry.

Narela Station is on Delhi-Ambala Route –

Narela Railway Station (station code NUR) is on the Delhi-Ambala route of the Northern Railways and in the Old Delhi division. The airport nearest to Narela is the Indira Gandhi International Airport, which is 42 km away. As many as 40 trains operate from the Narela Railway Station every day. The station has two platforms. Trians connect Narela to places like Ambala, Jammu, Udhampur, Hoshiarpur, Allahabad Junction, Chandigarh, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Amritsar Junction, Pune, Bhatinda, Fazilka, Kalka, and Dadar.

Metro Station Work is on –

Narela region is not on the Delhi Metro map at present. Delhi Metro’s Jahangir Puri station is the nearest station to Narela region. Narela itself is scheduled to have the Delhi Metro services in its Phase IV. The work on Phase IV is now on.
