Overview of Maddur Railway Station – MAD

Maddur town is located on the bank of the Shimsha River in Karnataka’s Mandya district. Known for its tender coconut cultivation, Maddur dispatches 300 trucks of coconuts every day to Punjab, Maharashtra and West Bengal. It is called the tender coconut capital of India.

Maddur Railway Station (station code MAD) of the South Western Railway is located in the Bangalore division. Its neighbourhood stations are Nidaghatta and Hanakere. Gubbi is a taluka town in Tumkur district of Karnataka and is about 90 km from Bangalore on the Bangalore-Honnavara stretch of the National Highway 206.

Gubbi Railway Station (station code GBB) of the South Western Railway is in the Mysore division. Its neighborhood stations are Nittur and Mallasandra. It is a small station with just one platform. Fourteen trains stop at this station every day, but none of them is an express train. Gubbi is connected with places like Bangalore, Hospet, Shimoga, Hubli, and Arsikere by daily train services.

Bidadi Railway Station (codenamed BID) is situated in the Ramanagara district of Karnataka. The station is under the supervision of the Bangalore division, monitored by South Western Railway. It lies on the Mysore–Bangalore railway line and is also a stoppage point for four express trains & other daily passenger trains. The station is positioned 30 Kilometres from the Bangalore City junction, 35 Kilometres from Yesvantpur junction, and 100 Kilometres from Bangarapet Junction.

Overview of Nayandahalli Railway Station – NYH

Nayandahalli Railway Station (codenamed NYH) is located at 7 Kilometres from the busy Bangalore City junction. The station is one of the suburban stations in Bangalore division of the South Western Railway zone. No express trains stop at the Nayandahalli station, but passenger trains between Bangalore and Mysore stop here daily. The railway Station is next to the Jnana Bharati Halt station just 1 kilometre away, 12 Kilometres from Yesvantpur Junction and 30 Kilometres from Whitefield station.

 

The railway station is on the Bangalore – Mysore railway line and often used for intra-city commutation by the locals. Hejjala Railway Station (codenamed HJL) is located in Ramanagara district of Karnataka, India. The station is near to the Bidadi station (7 Kilometres) and is the suburban halt for the trains on the Mysore- Bangalore railway line. Hejjala station belongs to the South Western Railway Zone of Indian Railways and falls under the supervision of Bangalore division respectively. Tughlakabad is a suburban area located in the Southern Delhi state and has been named after the Muslim ruler Muhammad-bin-Tughlak. Badli is now an urban area as much of its land has been acquired for industries and for Delhi Development Authority’s Rohini project. As a result, Badli has an industrial area and most residents now work for the industry. Badli has a railway station and will also have the metro in the third phase of its expansion. Badli is an assembly constituency too and has Bhalswa and Jahangirpuri resettlement colonies, around 32 unauthorized colonies and some slums.

Badli Railway Station (station code BHD) has two platforms. It is an old station located on the main Delhi-Punjab line in Northern Railway’s Old Delhi division. Indira Gandhi International Airport is the nearest (21.36 km) airport from Badli. As many as 26 trains operate from Badli every day. Badli is connected with places like Amritsar, Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Kalka, Amb Andaura (Himachal), Panipat, Kurukshetra, Sonipat, Ghaziabad, Sahibabad, and Ambala by daily trains.

Narela is a tehsil in the north-west part of Delhi’s National Capital Territory. It is on the Delhi-Haryana border and is Delhi Development Authority’s third urban expansion project after Rohini and Dwarka. The Industrial development of Narela began in 1980s and is now a vital cog Delhi’s industry.

Narela Station is on Delhi-Ambala Route –

Narela Railway Station (station code NUR) is on the Delhi-Ambala route of the Northern Railways and in the Old Delhi division. The airport nearest to Narela is the Indira Gandhi International Airport, which is 42 km away. As many as 40 trains operate from the Narela Railway Station every day. The station has two platforms. Trians connect Narela to places like Ambala, Jammu, Udhampur, Hoshiarpur, Allahabad Junction, Chandigarh, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Amritsar Junction, Pune, Bhatinda, Fazilka, Kalka, and Dadar.

Narela region is not on the Delhi Metro map at present. Delhi Metro’s Jahangir Puri station is the nearest station to Narela region. Narela itself is scheduled to have the Delhi Metro services in its Phase IV. The work on Phase IV is now on.
